I was reading about Skillshare a webpage that wants be a platform for reallife skill and knowledge sharing, and I got redirected first to an interesting article in The New York Times called But Will It Make You Happy? about happiness and consumerism. It’s a really good read that puts the recession into perspective by saying that some people manage to live a happier life by spending less.
Its focal point is a wealthy California couple Tammy Strobel and her husband Logan Smith who has it all, but decides that they want to live a simpler life and they move to Portland, Oregon to do that. Tammy is now working as a writer and has a blog that inspired me to start this one, and the entry that got me started was this one: How To Change The World By Rethinking Your Perspective.
